HDI Annual Conference 2014 Recap

While much of America celebrated spring break last week, more than 2300 IT service and support professionals rocked the 24th annual HDI conference. Cherwell Software backed many festivities—hosting the Ambassador reception for HDI forum members and dignitaries, the Midwest Mixer for HDI local chapters in the Midwest region, and two IT Industry Legend receptions that celebrated the contributions of Ron Muns, founder of HDI, Malcolm Fry, one of the fathers of ITIL, and Jim Bolton, a long-time leader and mentor in the industry. Ron, Malcolm, and Cherwell Software’s CEO Vance Brown invigorated crowds with their industry insights and vision. As a welcome surprise, J. Paul Getty Trust, a Cherwell Software customer, won the HDI Team Excellence award and credited Cherwell Service Management with helping them achieve their success. ..
