Q: How did you end up at Cherwell Software?
A: I was working for CTS Retail doing IT support for a number of retail customers in a variety of markets and was contacted by a recruiter about a position with Cherwell. I started with the company in September 2011.
Q: What does your job as Service Desk Analyst involve?
A: We offer first, second and third line support to our UK-based customers and European partners. On average, per month, we manage 51 service requests and 168 incidents so we’re quite busy, but I learn something new every day.
Q: What is your favourite part of your job?
A: I really enjoy finding solutions to complicated problems. For example, one of our partners wanted to know how to log an incident via a text message. It took half a day for me to figure out, and I resolved it by trying different scenarios within Cherwell Service Management. Ultimately, it’s all about providing excellent customer service.
Q: Tell me something about you that not everyone knows?
A: I really like going to the gym (weight lifting) and football. My team is Tottenham Hotspurs. I hardly eat fruit or vegetables, my favourite dish is Chicken with a hot Nandos sauce and you’ll also often see me drinking a protein shake.
Q: What is your favourite TV show?
A: Celebrity Juice. It’s a British quiz panel show with a comedy twist, featuring UK and US celebrities. It’s naughty, but really funny!
Q: What do you like best about working at Cherwell Software?
A: I like the challenges that come with my role, and I like working within a close-knit team with a family feel.
