From February 15-18, Pink Elephant will be hosting its well-respected IT service management (ITSM) conference and exhibition at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. As Cherwell Software™ gears up for this year’s conference, I talked to Cherwell’s Marketing Events Manager Heidi Wickenhauser to get a sneak peek into Cherwell’s participation at this year’s event.
Why is Cherwell returning to Pink15?
Pink Elephant is globally recognized as IT service management experts and is proud of its commitment to IT best practice frameworks. Our own ITSM solution, Cherwell Service Management® (CSM), is PinkVERIFY™ certified for 11 ITIL® framework process. We find significant value in participating in this great event.
The event’s content is beyond valuable. It is one thing to attend and just physically be there but it’s another to engage with the content, speakers and conference as a whole and share experiences with your peers. The knowledge you gain can also help your service desk mature its operations and provide more value back to the business.
How will Cherwell be involved with Pink15?
This year, as a Super Silver Sponsor, Cherwell is more involved than ever. Our Cherwell Ambassador Malcolm Fry is participating in a panel discussion, entitled “Is the Service Desk Dead?”, which is being facilitated by Pink Elephant President David Ratcliffe. Also, our mApp™ solutions and Cherwell mApp Exchange is a finalist for the Innovation of the Year award, which we’re thrilled about.
Sounds like Cherwell is showing a lot of new things this year. Is there anything else that’s new for Cherwell at Pink15?
We’re definitely going to be showcasing our mApp solutions and the Cherwell mApp Exchange. They are innovative, new, and we expect them to significantly help our customers quickly and cost-effectively bring new functionality into their CSM solution. Many people will have the first opportunity to see mApp solutions at Pink.
How can attendees connect to Cherwell at the conference?
Attendees can come by and visit our booth (Booth 204). We will be offering demonstrations of CSM, highlighting incident problem change (IPC), configuration management/CMDB, self-service portal, dashboards, and more. Industry experts Malcolm Fry and Jarod Greene, who recently joined Cherwell Software, will be giving presentations and collectively sharing their wealth of IT knowledge.
What can attendees learn from Cherwell experts?
Together, Malcolm and Jarod can knowledgeably cover trends, best practices, and answer questions to specific scenarios. As an IT industry legend, Fry’s knowledge includes a wide scope, and Greene, who most recently spent his career researching the ITSM space for a leading industry research firm, has extensive knowledge of this marketplace. His deep industry understanding, and Cherwell Service Management knowledge, makes him a great resource for attendees visiting the Cherwell booth.
Who will benefit from Cherwell’s presence at Pink15?
All attendees can benefit from from Cherwell’s involvement in one way or another. For those in the market for a new ITSM tool, our live, one-on-one, personal demos will provide valuable insight into Cherwell Service Management. Attendees can also ask current Cherwell customers and Cherwell partners, at the booth, about their experience with the solution. This is the best insight you can get! And for those hoping to gain deeper ITSM and ITIL framework knowledge, they can attend the content-rich presentations from Jarod and Malcolm. And, if you don’t fall into either of those two categories, you can still come by the Cherwell stand for a chance to win some free giveaways, including a 50-inch TV.
