2014 is a landmark year for the EMEA operation of Cherwell Software™. It marks our first 5 years serving the needs of service desk teams throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Within these five years, we’ve seen our staff numbers grow significantly (so much so that during the summer of 2014, we moved into new offices), our customer base grow and we’ve received a number of industry recognitions, including the SDI Best Vendor for Customer Service award.
In recognition of these first 5 year achievements, we wanted to share our celebrations with 5 customers that have been with us from the start, having the faith and vision to choose Cherwell Service Management® as their service desk tool. At Cherwell Software, our mission is to put customer first, and this played a key role in selecting our celebration venue – the Palace of Westminster. We wanted to offer our customers, our guests, a unique venue and experience. Having lunch at this venue is by invitation only, and our local Member of Parliament was kind enough to offer an official invitation and to join in the festivities. Also joining were Timothy Pfeifer, one of the three Cherwell Software’s founders, and Craig Harper, our new president.
The lunch was terrific, and the weather was really kind, giving us a warm sunny day with clear blue skies, and our guided tour of the Palace culminated in visiting the gallery of the House of Commons chamber, where we could see House proceedings.
As we made our way home, I reflected on what was a truly enjoyable day, which I think achieved its objectives: to acknowledge and thank our customers for their support and faith in Cherwell Software as their vendor, and, to reinforce and build upon the relationships we have with all of our customers.
We look forward to the next five years and continuing to serve our customers and to listen to their needs. We will kick off our next 5 years by hosting our 2015 EMEA Regional Conference, happening in February 2015 in Windsor, U.K. We hope all of our EMEA customers can join us!
