Today, I’m thrilled to introduce you to the two newest members of our leadership team here at Cherwell Software.
Mike Munoz started this week as our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Scott Gainey joined us last month, taking on the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The timing couldn’t be better—we’re ready, and eager, to grow to the next level at Cherwell. It’s clear that both Mike and Scott have a mix of talent, experience, and insight that will elevate Cherwell’s presence in the IT Service Management market.

Meet Scott Gainey
Scott is a 20-year vet of the enterprise software world, and he joins us with a reputation for being one of the top marketers within the field. He’s helped build brands for some of the world’s most successful technology companies, including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Datacenter, Veritas Software, and NetApp. Scott’s already expanding on our existing go-to-market practice and extending Cherwell’s brand. See our recent announcement around Cherwell’s sponsorships of both the Reading Football and London Irish Rugby teams, tied to the opening of our new EMEA headquarters in Reading, England.
Meet Mike Munoz
As Cherwell’s new CRO, Mike will lead our global sales organization. Mike comes to Cherwell with 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley, including time at Skyhigh Networks, Nimble Storage, and Data Domain. Throughout Mike’s career, he’s had a transformative effect on companies, helping sales departments mature, increasing revenue, and serving as a key leader in the IPO process.
We can’t wait to see what Mike and Scott will do at Cherwell! As we grow our business, and look for ways to improve our solutions and provide customers with the best possible tools, we believe that they will be invaluable members of Team Cherwell.
