I'm concerned this might be because I downloaded a Mapp to look at it - possibly to use on our Service Desk for loaning out equipment.
I didn't publish it or apply it. Since the refresh I can't see any reference for that Mapp anywhere but it seems to have messed up the business objects?
My Cherwelltest was refreshed with Prod early this week and now I can't open my default dashboard on Cherwelltest I just see the Cherwell splash screen.
I tried to publish a blueprint but get a long list of errors - about constraints referencing non-existent fields - here are just a few
I tried to edit one of the dashboards that I can view and tried to edit an object but I get this:
I've reported this to Cherwell, but I don't know how long it will take to get a reply.
I don't think I will ever download a mapp again.
The latest blueprint I published on test before it was refreshed worked great.
Please help point me in the right direction
So these errors are occurring in Test and not Prod; and only after your Prod data was refreshed into Test? If so, then it just sounds like there has been an issue with the Prod data being restored into Test - I would just redo it. Opening a mApp and not applying / publishing the blueprint afterwards wouldn't affect the data in your system.
Thank you for your reply. I've asked for test to be refreshed from PROD. I've never encountered this type of behavior before, but I had never downloaded a map before either, so I thought the two might be related.
Are you on a SaaS / hosted system? You said you 'asked' for test to be refreshed from prod?
Does this mean Cherwell did it for you?
I saw a bunch of errors like this after a refresh where my customer's local Cherwell definitions didn't update correctly. We deleted the dcat records, reloaded defs, and that corrected the issue. Never did figure out what went wrong with the dcat files, but I have run into this a frew times.
I also saw similar issues when one member of a team did their development against prod [bangs head against table], then tried to scan that blueprint against test that was very not-synced; it did not go well.
To delete the dcat files, you need to go to C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\Trebuchet.
No we are not hosted. Our database tech and senior Cherwell tech did the refresh
