ORAU Selects Cherwell Service Managment

August 15, 2008 - Colorado Springs, Colo.  —Cherwell Software, Inc. (“Cherwell”), a leading developer of software products for the IT Service Management industry, announces that they have been selected by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) for their IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based, Service Desk solution. Cherwell was selected by ORAU after an exhaustive analysis that included reviewing 32 software solutions and completing five site visits over a period of eight months.

“We chose Cherwell because it is simple to set up and easy to use while being a full-service Service Desk solution,” says ORAU IT Service Management (ITSM) System Administrator Luke Smith. “We were able to roll this solution out with confidence in our ability to manage and support it going forward.” In just a few short weeks ORAU developed and implemented a Cherwell Operations Planning and Management application that incorporates project management tools and is proving to be extremely useful.
