November 2, 2016 - Colorado Springs, CO. - Cherwell Software announced that it ranks 25th in the annual “Top 100 Digital Companies in Colorado” list published by Built in Colorado. Companies are ranked based on their number of Colorado-based employees. The list includes businesses from a variety of industries, with software companies comprising 53 percent of the companies represented. The 2016 ranking reflects a total of 2,100 eligible businesses across Colorado’s growing and diverse technology landscape. In last year’s publication, Cherwell was positioned at 42.
“We are thrilled to be climbing the Top Digital Companies in Colorado list. We recently moved to a new 60,000 square foot corporate headquarters in northern Colorado Springs, opened an office in downtown Denver, and have grown our Colorado-based workforce by 16 percent year-over-year. We are committed to our long-term presence in Colorado and actively seeking to add the best and brightest local talent to our team,” said Craig Harper, Cherwell CEO.
Cherwell’s global business has gained momentum quarter over quarter, and market demand for its award-winning software solutions, Cherwell® Service Management and Cherwell® Asset Management, continues to steadily increase. In August, Cherwell was recognized as the only Challenger in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for IT Service Support Management (ITSSM) Tools
. Cherwell’s ability to attract a loyal following can be attributed in large part to its stellar customer engagement, as evidenced by its Gartner Peer Insights
rating of 4.5 out of 5.0, based on 142 customer reviews as of October 2016.
Earlier this month, Cherwell brought its global community together in Colorado Springs for its fourth annual Cherwell Global Conference
, held at the Broadmoor Hotel and Resort. In addition to coming together to learn and connect, the Cherwell community participated in a silent auction and 5K run that collectively raised more than thirty thousand dollars for a Colorado-based charity, Judi’s House. Judi’s House was founded by Brian Griese, a former Denver Broncos quarterback and current ESPN commentator, and his wife, Brook, a clinical psychologist specializing in childhood trauma and loss. Judi’s House is committed to providing support, resources, and counseling to children and families grieving the death of a loved one.
“At Cherwell, our core beliefs of Heart, Hunger, Humility, and Honesty drive everything we do. The technology industry is constantly evolving, and our values are timeless and ground us throughout the change. They also guide our efforts to give back to the community. Our customers recognize our commitment to these values, and many cite them as reasons why they chose Cherwell over the many hundreds of alternatives in the marketplace. I couldn’t be more proud of the work we are doing here at Cherwell, both on behalf of our customers and the greater community,” said Harper.
