Bailey Gannett works on the Cherwell communications team. She's a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in communications and public relations. Interning for companies like DaVita Kidney Care and Ball Corporation has allowed her to gain experience in internal and external communications for corporations.
“Gender equity isn’t just a social issue, it’s a massive economic opportunity,” says Katica Roy. She should know. Roy’s company sits at the intersection of tech and gender. Roy is CEO and founder of Pipeline, an award-winning Denver-based SaaS company that utilizes Artificial Intelligence to identify economic gains through gender equity. A nationally published author, Roy has 22 years of corporate executive experience working in technology, healthcare, and financial services industries.
Katica Roy is on a mission to achieve gender equity and we are thrilled to welcome her as our guest speaker for the Cherwell Global Conference (CGC) Women’s Breakfast.
Roy combines her zeal for research with a passion for informing women and men globally about the economic benefits and social impact that gender equity can have on your organization. At the Women’s Breakfast, she will be sharing her story and sharing how women can be catalysts for industry-wide change.
Roy also serves as a thought-leader in the world of gender equity, having received multiple awards and recognition for her work. In 2017 she was named a Luminary by the Colorado Technology Association and a 2018 Colorado Governors’ Fellows, as well as being named a finalist in the Denver Business Journal’s 2018 Outstanding Women in Business. Roy and her co-founder, Stefan Ramsbott, were also named Founding Team of the Year by the Stevie International Business Awards.
Driven by passion, Roy devotes time to volunteering on multiple boards and with various programs such as Girl Rising, the Women’s Foundation of Colorado, and the CU Boulder Leed’s Women’s Council. She has served on the following boards: Advisory Council for Harvard Business Review, Business intelligence Board for Chief Learning Officer, Edge of Seven, Book Trust, Isabella Bird Community School, and the University of San Francisco’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy.
To hear more from Katica Roy, be sure to add the Women’s Breakfast to your CGC agenda. The Women’s Breakfast will be held 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19.
