Leaders of the Change: Announcing Our CGC 2018 Keynote Speaker Mae Jemison

Posted by on August 16, 2018

Who hasn’t dreamed of going to space? Maybe not actually as an astronaut, but at least bouncing around gravity free with a distant view of the Earth below.

Do you ever feel like challenges in your life today might as well be a trip to outer space? Initiating new initiatives, creating cross-functional systems, and spearheading collaboration across distributed organizations can remain daunting without strategies for pushing forward.

Our keynote speaker for Cherwell Global Conference (CGC) has been to space. Not only that but she was the first woman of color in the world to go to space, serving six years as a NASA astronaut. She’s also a physician, an ambassador, a founder, a professor, and an all-around inspiration. She is a master of radical leaps in life, work, and progress for our world. We are thrilled to announce that Mae Jemison will be speaking during the General Session this year at Cherwell Global Conference on Wednesday, September 19.

Mae joins a line-up of industry leaders and Cherwell executives—including our new Chief Executive Officer Sam Gilliland. The conference will delve into the state of service management and realizing the full potential of digital transformation for organizations from across the spectrum of industry and the public sector.

This year’s theme “Lead the Change” explores what it means to take charge of your organization’s future and deliver seamless, automated services that increase productivity, enable rapid innovation, and maximize return on investment.

If you haven’t already registered, there’s still time join us at the historic Broadmoor Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs. Visit here to sign up. You can also view the full schedule including pre-conference and partner day on Monday, Sept. 17 through three main conference days, Sept. 18 through 20 (2018).

And, stay tuned for additional keynote speaker announcements coming soon!
