In the ever-changing landscape of social media platforms, it is critical for IT to stay current in order to maintain industry relevance. The largest trend in social media to date is live broadcasting. Tools such as Twitter’s Periscope and Facebook’s “Live” feature are considered by many social media experts to be 2016’s biggest developments, and organizations should absolutely consider adding them to their social media strategies moving forward.

Cherwell is excited to take advantage of these new live broadcasting platforms to expand our priority of providing world class customer service by offering live broadcasts for partners, customers, and ITSM industry members using Twitter’s Periscope platform. Please join us on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 1:00PM MST for our Periscope live broadcast debut featuring Vice President of Product Marketing and industry expert Jarod Greene (@jarodgreene).
Jarod will be joined by Jacob Mueller (@jacobmueller3) to discuss the “Do’s and Don’ts” of organizational efforts to improve IT customer satisfaction. Greene and Mueller will answer the following questions on this Periscope broadcast:
- What is the business value of IT customer satisfaction – Why should happy customers matter to the CIO?
- What are the different types of IT customer satisfaction surveys? Why is it important to avoid over-surveying?
- What are the different—and best—methods of IT customer sentiment analysis?
- Why is it important to integrate your ITSM tool and customer surveys?
- Why is transparency critical and what is the role of IT communication before, during and after the surveys are completed?
If you are new to Periscope, it is Twitter’s new live broadcasting platform that allows you to share and experience live video streams directly from your smartphone, tablet, or PC. These new platform features encourage users to participate in the live discussion by submitting comments. The Periscope hosts can respond to these comments and questions in real time.
The ITSM social community is tight knit. For years, companies have been using the traditional social media tactics of publishing blogs, tweets, and LinkedIn posts to get their content distributed to their audiences. IT best practices continuously look for new ways to innovate and provide top-notch customer support; Periscope offers this feature to you at the click of a button.
