MITRE’s Help Desk Wins the Prestigious Team Excellence Award at HDI’s 2017 Conference

Last week's HDI 2017 Conference & Expo was a meetup of 2500 technical support industry professionals, educators, vendors and IT Industry Legends in Washington D.C. This was the most insightful, energetic and optimistic HDI Conference I've ever attended, and Team Cherwell was thrilled to be there.
Each year, one of the biggest conference highlights is HDI's announcement of the top technical support professionals and teams. The winner of the prestigious Team Excellence Award this year was MITRE, a not-for-profit organization that operates research and development centers to help the federal government solve complex challenges. This award recognizes an IT technical support team that has set and achieved the highest standards of excellence. Chosen by a panel of judges, the Team Excellence Award is given annually to one help desk team that provides a stellar customer experience, while continually improving service with people, process, and technology innovations.
