How do I register for a class?

Register or request for any class on its course description page, or use the full registration form.

Can you help me choose a class?

Yes, please contact Cherwell Learning Services to talk about your needs and we will discuss the best training option for you.

What is the cancellation or reschedule policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule any class, please contact us.

How do I receive my course completion certificate?

You will receive your course completion certificate for applicable courses in the Learning Portal. Access your certificate from the Achievements tab in your User account menu, or from the Achievements tab in the course itself.

I am having trouble accessing my labs; who do I contact?

For issues with labs please contact us.

Training at Cherwell Facilities

Is lab access included in classes at Cherwell Facilities?

Yes. During your entire class, you will have full access to a technical lab environment.

Will I receive a printed manual in class?

You will be provided with a digital copy of the training manual approximately one week before class. You will have access to this material after class as well.

Is lunch provided for attendees?

All attendees will be provided with lunches Monday through Friday. If you have special dietary needs, please contact us with that information prior to class.

Virtual Live Instructor Training

What are the technical requirements to attend a virtual class?

At a minimum you will need a high-speed Internet connection. You’ll need a system that includes a microphone and speakers so that you can listen to, and speak with, the live instructor. It is recommended that you have dual monitors so that you can access and work with your labs on one screen while attending the class on the second screen.

Can I attend the virtual class from my office?

You are attending a live training class, so it is recommended that you attend from a private and quiet location where you can concentrate and pay attention to your instructor.

How do I access my labs?

Lab access is provided to Virtual Classroom attendees, and you will receive specific login details and credentials for your lab access.

How long do I have lab access?

During your class, you will have lab access from the start of the first day through the end of the last day of your training.

How do I communicate with the instructor during class?

Your instructor is available via email, online chat, and directly through the Virtual environment. You are encouraged to interact with your instructor and other attendees.

Who do I contact if I have a question or problem during the class?

All Virtual classes have a producer who is there to assist you and the instructor during the class. The producer is available via email, online chat, and through the Virtual environment.

Self-Paced Training

What are the technical requirements to take a Self-Paced course?

The minimum requirements are a high-speed Internet connection, as there is a large amount of video content, and a system that includes audio so you can hear the recorded instruction. It is recommended that you have dual monitors so that you can access and work with your labs on one screen while following the instructional content on the second screen. Chrome or Firefox are recommended.

How do I access my labs?

You will receive specific login details and credentials directly for your lab access.

How do I test that my system will work in the lab environment?

Once you have lab access, you connect through a web browser and can test your system. If there are technical issues with your lab, please contact Cherwell Learning Services.

How long do I have lab access?

You will have two work weeks of lab access. To schedule your lab access, please contact Cherwell Learning Services.

Can I receive an extension on my lab access?

If you need additional time for lab work after your two-week window has expired, you may request an extension. Pending lab availability, we will extend your reservation for another two weeks. If we cannot accommodate an extension, we will save your work and load it onto the next lab environment that becomes available.

How long do I have access to the Self-Paced training materials?

You have access to the Self-Paced materials for 1 year.

Cherwell Asset Management Self-Paced materials are limited to 90-days.

Will I be sent a printed course manual?

Students will be provided a digital course manual. Printed course manuals are not provided, but you may print a copy for yourself if you wish.
