Introduction to the Configuration Management Database

Scheduled: August 28, 2018 (US) This course is designed to provide participants with the information and skills necessary to successfully customize, populate, configure and test a working CMDB in Cherwell Service Management. Students will understand the out-of-the-box CMDB workflow in order to decide whether to reuse it as-is, or customize it.  Participants will gain practical experience through hands-on exercises to customize and prepare the CMDB for asset data and import assets and link upstream and downstream assets to utilize the visualizer.  There will be a Questions and Answers block with a guest speaker, with experience integrating and implementing the CMDB workflow and a discussion of other possible integrations with the CMDB in CSM.

This course is intended for students who have minimal experience with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) feature in Cherwell Service Management, and would like to increase their skills and knowledge.
